The Park Service strikes again! Saturday night one of the brainless Ranger-morons who was, unfortunately, hired to protect us from the 'bad guys' got his priorities mixed up and fired a shot into a houseboat full of local citizens at the Kettle River Campground. The bullet went through a sliding glass door and into the chest of Casey Hardinger of Kettle Falls. Casey happened to be in the front room with four young children at the time. Somehow our hero's bullet missed the kids. Casey was severley injured and was transported to Sacred Heart via Heartflight.
The Stevens County EMT's were having their annual get-together at the campground at the time. Until the cops showed up there were no problems. Add two well-armed power-over-everyone goons and the we now have a serious problem. The last party of the summer was over..... The EMP's couldn't believe what happened!
The two Super Cops attempted to break into a 50-foot houseboat floating home belonging to Mike Sublie. When Mike attempted to protect his property from the two goons they sprayed him with mace and used a taser on him. He was later arrested for disturbing the peace!!
Then one of the goons decided he had the right to shoot someone. Casey just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This dumb-ass cop fired point-blank into a room full of little kids!!!
Casey happened to take the bullet!! He was at least 15 feet INSIDE the houseboat at the time!
NOW is the time for citizens to rise up and voice OUR opinion about the despicable treatment that we suffered for many years at the hands of the National Park Service in the Kettle Falls area.
Take the time to WRITE to Chris Cowbrough, Editor of the Statesman-Examiner, at 220 South Main in Colville, WA, 99114.
Please be brief and let your unfortunate park service situations be known! WRITE TODAY! BE BRIEF! WRITE TODAY!
Thanks! Bob Jones

Washington State Fire District receives Life Safety Achievement Award

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is pleased to congratulate the Marysville Fire District for their demonstrated commitment and effective promotion of fire prevention programs in their community, having earned them the distinguished Life Safety Achievement Award for 2012. “The number of fire fatalities in our state are lower each year thanks to fire agencies such as Maryville, making their communities safer” said State Fire Marshal Charles Duffy.

Since 1994, the National Association of State Fire Marshals Foundation along with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company have recognized fire departments for their fire prevention efforts by awarding the Life Safety Achievement Award to those fire departments in our nation that experienced zero fire deaths in their jurisdiction during the previous calendar year.
Encourage your local fire department to apply for the Life Safety Achievement Award for its fire prevention efforts in 2013.  A list of criteria and an application for the 2013 award will be available on www.grinnellmutual.com in the spring of 2014.

FBI agent questions potential Spokane mass shooting data
Numbers crunched by a reporter for Atlantic magazine point to Spokane as a likely location for America’s next mass shooting, but an area FBI agent says the study is without merit.
SPOKANE - Numbers crunched by a reporter for Atlantic magazine point to Spokane as a likely location for America’s next mass shooting, but an area FBI agent says the study is without merit.

Using data provided by left-leaning investigative magazine Mother Jones, the Atlantic’s Philip Bump profiles the likely culprit of the next episode in which at least four people will be shot and killed in a public place. According to Bump’s research, the next mass shooter will likely be a 38-year-old white man who is mentally disturbed. He will open fire in Feb. 12, 2014, killing seven people in Spokane with a gun purchased legally.

Frank Harrill, the FBI supervisory senior resident agent in Spokane, said the overly specific details in Bump’s analysis “takes it into the theater of the absurd.”

Dear Friends,

As you know, my sister Antonia just passed away.
This week has been very sad for me and also very exhausting.
I have been giving as much support as I can to her children, Jim and Joanna, as they deal with the difficult realities of the immediate physical and official issues.
The loss of their mother has been devastating to them, but the gestures of love shown by everyone, including strangers, has been amazing and very helpful.
Antonia loved this community deeply.
Each one of you has been a part of her life and your loss is personal and significant. Your connection to her was part of the fabric of life.
I hope Antonia will inspire you to repair and continue that fabric of life.
We are planning a celebration of her life at the Caspar Community Center, Saturday October 19.
Some family members are coming from very far away.
Jim, Joanna and I will be around a lot the next few weeks.
I just signed up for this listserv today. I'll write again and will try to keep up with email but it's not easy with all the traveling.
Thanks again for the outpouring of love. I've gotten hugs and shed tears on the shoulders of countless people this week. I love you all.
