Pearl Jam‘s new release “Lightning Bolt” has struck.
Lightning Bolt provides us a much needed respite from daily deluge of the never-ending social media mind-fuck and major news media pumping of ridiculous pop stars and their insane behaviors.  And Thank God or whoever is running the show for that. The legendary grunge band’s 10th album isn’t officially out until October 15, but right now fans can hear the entire LP at iTunes.

I just thought that the people of Republic, Washington should know... I have been protesting in Washington DC, lobbying the United States Congress, as well as have taken part in a United States Congressional briefing...about the "legal kidnapping" of my children, which places them in current immanent danger in the hands of a convicted child sex offender, and a court documented admitted domestic violence perpetrator. I will not stop until my children are returned to me. Federal authorities have been alerted to, and are actively investigating my case, as well as several investigative reporters. I love my hometown, but this injustice will not stand. The man who has my children is an active pedophile, and is being allowed to freely roam the Republic School...and the town. My name was Hope Sager (Edwards)...and I will not stop!

At special Masses on All Souls' Day (Nov. 2) and throughout November, Fr. Tony Scannell and I will remember dearly departed loved ones.   As Catholics, we believe that our prayers, almsgiving, and the sacrifice of the Mass can all bring solace to souls awaiting welcome into God's presence. Please join in this beautiful aspect of our faith by sending the names of your loved ones gone before us.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Mark Payne

A remediation plan to treat affected ground water from Teck Trails Historical Operations is expected to get underway next week.

According to Community Relations Leader, Catherine Adair, affected ground water consists of various concentrations of ammonia, sulphate and some metals.Adair says the interim remedial measure was developed in consultation with Environment Canada.

A series of wells will intercept impacted ground water, treat it then release the water back into the Columbia River..the project is expected to be fully operational by 2015

I continue to say two things...nobody knows the weather and ducks are cool, especially mallards. Hey my good buds in England tell me that a hurricane is headed their way,.....wow. Watchout. I have not heard of such a thing but trackcing now...I suppose it would be a tropical storm by the time it got to England. If it was bad? Then I would start going to church. As a good Catholic I always attend mass...if nothing else that the Blessed Sacraments. Get ready...November is coming..Thanksgiving, then Black Friday, then Christmas, then New Years, then Valentines Day, St Patricks Day and we are into spring.....hang tight weather might be a big surprise.
