Even your editor gets a bit under the weather at times. I am lucky however. I have so many photographers who work with me for gratis and another couple dozen around the world who consider me their mentor. I feel blessed that they feel this way, but I am humbled by todays digital work. In collge basketball terms, I would be red shirting in digital but I use my film experience of 48 years to give me a boost:_ I am in desperate need of a new portable unit. Donations? I will take any you might have to give in forms of Paypal cash. God Bless and here is you pics for today..

Wood Pigeon by Kathy Meader, in New Zealand

Gov. Jerry Brown opposed SB 131, a law that would have lifted the statute of limitations on child sexual abuse in private institutions for 2014 -- opening the California Church up to another round of crippling lawsuits.

This image was shot just outside Cypress Hills Provincial Park as this Snowy Owl rested in a cultivated field. I would like to dedicate this posting to a very special Lady, Jane Shannon. -Rick

Kathy Meader New Zealand

Kathy is in the air and headed back to the United States and Cheney, Washington. She has been gone for two months now...wow. This was by far the furthest and longest trip. I don't know if she has any ideas of space travel but it could happen. With Kathy one never knows.

A flight to Boise

Might as well walk to Boise. We followed Jane's sister on air track. The plane took 43 minutes. It climbed to 35, 000 then as soon as it got to altitude it started descent. Take away taxi time and it took maybe half an hour. Cost 200. Why? Business Class. That allows for much more leg room and because its a short flight you get to share a beer  and two peanuts, with you seat buddy, and about 1000 napkins...Crazy world...
