What important days are coming? Everyone knows Valentines Day?! The 14th is a number that is somehow engrained in us from early childhood. These days we are almost socialist in this holiday. As a child in the 1950's I had a piece of manilla paper stuck to the side of my desk. Anyone who wanted to could put a Valentine card inside. I usually got about 5. One would be a secret admirer who I knew was a girl and knew she admired me but that was as a kid. Two were from guys. One later turned out to be gay which ok with me as a kid. I have no arguments with various sexes but do get angry when they are mad because they perceive in some way I must dislike them. I dislike very few people...very very few. The last one was from Marcia, my long time neighbor and very best friends. Marcia was the first girl I kissed. When I moved from my woods, I lost track of her. It is sad she lives in New England somewhere. Her dad was a dentist and her mom ordered from Schwans :-) I think the last name was Witzel but I might have it spelled wrong. If anyone knows a Marcia.....let me know.
