Park officials announced Tuesday that the lucrative contract to provide visitor services inside Glacier Park has been granted to concessioner giant Xanterra Parks and Resorts Inc.Xanterra replaces Glacier Park Inc., which held the contract since 1981.

The Eastern Washington football team will be sporting new Adidas TechFit uniforms at home this season, blending into the red turf of the Inferno like never before.
Adidas's TechFit uniforms feature a 30-percent weight reduction and increased mobility and comfort, allowing players to move more freely and at a faster pace. The uniforms incorporate multiple ventilation zones without seams, and incorporates Adidas's CLIMACOOL moisture management technology.
Along with the new duds, the Eagles will wear gloves featuring EWU’s logo surrounded by the state of Washington’s outline. To complete the look, Eastern will sport new red and black Adidas CrazyQuick and 5-Star cleats that provide superior traction on the red turf.
Fans of the Eagles can see the new uniforms for the first time at Eastern’s home opener versus Western Oregon on Saturday, Sept. 7. EWU was picked second in the Big Sky Preseason Coaches Poll and is ranked fourth in the The Sports Network Preseason FCS Poll.
