NSA broke privacy rules thousands of times, audit finds
The National Security Agency has broken privacy rules or overstepped its legal authority thousands of times each year since Congress granted the agency broad new powers in 2008, according to an internal audit and other top secret documents.
Most of the infractions involve unauthorized surveillance of Americans or foreign intelligence targets in the United States. They range from significant violations of law to typographical errors that result in unintended interception of U.S. emails and telephone calls.
A Whole New Trip to Ferry County
“Ah, this is nice,” said Dolly Brudevold, a teacher at Keller Elementary School and a regular commuter on the 1.5-mile crossing for State Highway 21.
Scores of people lined the bank to witness the ferry’s first official crossing – seven years after state engineers completed its initial design.

"Well I have to say that the article in the Ferry County View is well written ... Although typical of Ferry County... When they finally decided to do a story about this case , the focus is on a clerical error made by the prosecutor and not on the actual events if the case ? Lol wow ... Shannon Klepper or the fact that she caused our local postal workers to have to handle feces and dead bugs.... Very impressive journalism... As for Shannon and the case being dismissed ... Lets just say I wasn't counting on anything from Ferry County justice system... Thank god for federal charges lol....and then my favorite part.... The civil suit ..."

Someone from Ferry County wrote me concerned, perhaps jokingly, about an article which describes whys and such two anonymous sites disappeared. This borderlines on conspiratorial however some things in that realm are really happening. I know the county and area of E Washington is easily split down two lines of thinking with a number of smaller ones now coming to play. I am non partisan when it comes to this sort of thing. If you have any comments there is a place to leave them at the bottom of today's page.

Supreme Court justices bolstered Idaho's power to regulate cigarettes
shipped to Indian-owned businesses in a ruling that touched not only on
Native American sovereignty but also public health.
Justices wrote Thursday that Idaho could prevent Canadian-made cigarettes -- ones that hadn't been taxed in the U.S. to help cover tobacco-related illness costs -- from being shipped to a Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation-based retailer.
