Lucy Jones, USGS says the odds of a stronger more damaging quake in the next 7 days is 25%.

•  Lucile M. Jones is a seismologist and public voice for earthquake science and earthquake safety in California. She has been with the US Geological Survey and a Visiting Research Associate at the Seismological Laboratory of Caltech since 1983.

 A man walked into Sacred Heart Medical Center with life-threatening stab wounds Monday afternoon.Hospital staff admitted the patient at about 1:20. At last check he was listed in stable condition.
Spokane Police said they were told the stabbing happened on East Sprague Avenue between Napa Street and Freya Street. They are actively investigating leads, but have not identified any suspects.

A death sentence has been issued for a portion of a wolf pack that’s killed at least 22 sheep this month in southern Stevens County.
Efforts to haze and deter the Huckleberry Pack from attacking a flock of 1,800 sheep grazing on private timber land have failed and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officials say they have no other choice but to target the pack.
In an effort to break the predation cycle, agency Director Phil Anderson said he authorized the killing of four wolves from the pack, which is estimated at up to 12 members.
Officials will later evaluate whether that is enough lethal force to end the sheep attacks.

A federal judge has overturned part of a California law requiring a 10-day waiting period for gun buyers, ruling that it does not apply to those who already own firearms.
U.S. District Judge Anthony Ishii of Fresno ruled late last week that "10-day waiting periods impermissible violate the Second Amendment" for gun-buyers who already passed background checks or are authorized to carry concealed weapons.
"There is no evidence that a 'cooling off period,' such as that provided by the 10-day waiting period, prevents impulsive acts of violence by individuals who already possess a firearm. A waiting period for a newly purchased firearm will not deter an individual from committing impulsive acts of violence with a separate firearm that is already in his or her possession," he said in his ruling.

As seen in above two pictures, wildlife in the form of 29 new and unnamed grasses mixed well with the rocks which are covered with lichen, we are most certainly not in tow, It take a special blend of weather and plants growing together to make it work.
       I did notice some signs of drought.I also noticed signs of bark beetle. Add to that the grasshoppers which if swarming in numbers are locusts and you have several words from the Bible. Someone asked me what the words are on my Facebook. They are small prophecies. In 1982 I told God I would stop drinking and write things which are end times scenaros I saw coming true.
