* Impacts...dense fog will result in poor visibilities on

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...

use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Spokane Police Key Crimes detectives are investigating an apparent homicide inside an apartment in the 500 block of South Hatch Street, just south of Interstate 90.A 34-year-old black man was found dead inside his apartment, detectives said.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Riverside Avenue closed temporarily on Sunday after a car drove over an embankment near Riverside and Maple.

At around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning, the driver went off the road and over the embankment near Maple Street Bridge, according to Spokane Police.

Nevada--- A bigger share of the money hunters pay for Nevada elk tags could be used to compensate ranchers and others for property damage caused by elk herds under a new proposal backed by state wildlife officials.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring a bill in the upcoming Legislature that would give state wildlife commissioners additional flexibility to allocate more money for elk mitigation projects, including fence repair.
