George Zimmerman's wife is asking that he pay for a
permanent life insurance policy with her named as the beneficiary,
according to a divorce petition made public Friday. Shellie Zimmerman, 26, is seeking an equal distribution of their
checking accounts, trusts, partnerships and any unknown assets, and
asked that a judge prevent him from selling off any property. Among the
unknown assets is any money George Zimmerman may get from a defamation
lawsuit he has filed against NBC.

Shellie Zimmerman
said in the petition that her husband should pay the premiums on the
policy since he "has the financial ability to obtain such life insurance
at reasonable rates." She also asked for custody of the couple's
2-year-old Rottweiler, Oso, and 8-year-old Leroy, a mixed-breed dog.
They have no children.---------------------------------------------------
For some, music lovers' first concerts were seminal moments
in local history, such as Elvis Presley performing in Seattle in 1957. For others, their first concerts reflect dated fads.
Seattlepi.com readers reminisced about their own first concerts, which ranged from international superstars to local acts hitting their strides. Were you at any of these shows? What was your first concert and who do you wish you had seen?

Flooding in Ferry County by Stephen Graham
Circumstances: Debra and Scott Yagues have legal guardianship of their grand daughter, Aaliyah Esqueda. Debra and Scott allowed visitation of Aaliyah to her father's parents, Irene and Salvador Esqueda on 09/03/2013. Aaliyah is to be returned to the Yagues on 09/08/2013. A facebook message was sent from a relative of the Esquedas indicating Irene and Salvador were taking Aaliyah to her father in Mexico.
Through follow up interviews by detectives it's believed the information is accurate. Idaho Falls police were made aware of the incident around 14:45 hours on 09/06/2013. It's believed that Irene, Salvador, and Aaliyah left Idaho Falls on 09/05/2013 around 23:00 hours on a bus headed for Mexico.
If you have information, please contact Idaho State Police Patrol Region 3, 208-846-7500 or 911

A theoretical 9.1 quake off Alaska could flood Long Beach and parts of O.C., and force 750,000 to evacuate.
A large tsunami hitting California would cause major flooding in Long Beach and parts of Orange County and force 750,000 people to evacuate coastal areas in just a few hours, according to an extensive simulation published Wednesday by the U.S. Geological Survey.
The study, released two years after a tsunami killed thousands in Japan, identified several communities that are particularly vulnerable to flooding because of their low elevation and lack of protection from waves.
They include Marina del Rey and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach as well as the low-lying coastal areas extending from the ports to Newport Beach.
The report, compiled by dozens of scientists, emergency responders and industry representatives, is the most extensive examination of what a tsunami would do to California's coastline. The research simulated a 9.1 quake off the Alaska coast that would send damaging waves to California.
While waves would be larger in Northern California — between 10 and 23 feet — the damage could be greater in Southern California because the region has more coastal development and fewer coastal cliffs.
