The jet stream is coming into California at the San Fran Bridge  to Mendocino Coast then follows the jet stream north….for those following… IF the drought continues thru a 4th year, it will change the dynamics of the earthquakes…It will or might be like reverse fracking. The moisture is being suck up and out as opposed to being forceable ejected. To add another slice to our pie…the     drought may or may not change geophysics, fires and prevention etc….it may alter moving plans. As it stood in 1994-5 I could get a U-Haul here in Washington which I did and pay nothing to drive it to California. Prices on renting them from S Cal to Washington were 10,000 dollars. And although it stormed in the orange and citrus growing areas near Chico…it will take many many times that to have an effect. The next three weeks are calling for NO RAIN and warmer than usual temps for the bottom two thirds of California. That is based on the hopes of a strong El Nino and although one is forming, models show it will be very weak.

I don’t drink the water in Spokane. It truly tastes bad. I buy my water from Weed, California where it is bottled at the source at the bottom of Shasta. I have called them twice. They assure me they are not running out of water. Unusual considering the with of Weed is in a water crisis. And wells all around NorCal are starting to catch up to Central and S Cal…and run dry. What is going to happen is anyones guess. I have none. I might defer to now retired Hank LuBean who is water man for the Bonneville. I also have Foster Fanning, the fire chief for most of NE Washington..also semi retired and going back into photography.

BUTTE — A Great Falls casting director is looking for Native American actors and speakers for a six-hour HBO miniseries about the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Rene Haynes has already cast actor Casey Affleck, younger brother to Academy Award-winning actor/director Ben Affleck, in the role of Meriwether Lewis.
Casting calls are scheduled for Missoula on Nov. 5, Polson on Nov. 8 and Browning on Nov. 10, among others in the Northwest and Canada, reports the Great Falls Tribune.
Haynes, based in Los Angeles, specializes in Native American and First Nations casting. Among her best known projects are “Winter in the Blood” (2013), filmed with several Montana actors on the Fort Belknap Reservation; “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee,” “Twilight Saga: New Moon & Eclipse” and “Into the West.”
